imagesLatest rumors suggest that Samsung Galaxy S4 launch date is set for April 2013.

In a relatively strong flurry of rumors being spread across right now, we find that the Samsung Galaxy S IV (the next-in-line of the S-series) may arrive as early as Jan-Feb next year. Newspapers like Korean Times and ETNews have speculated that the smartphone might debut at the CES 2013 next year and may very well go into production soon. Although no thorough details of the specs are available, a lot of rumor has already surrounded imminent gadget.
Samsung has been enjoying a relatively successful quarter with its S III and Note II releases. One reputed website notes that the rumors may be true as Samsung might just be hoping to ride on this successful streak of gadget releases. Typical SGS launch cycles fall between Feb and May and a good enough reason to push it forward would be the competition (iPhone 5) and the streak of successful launches by Samsung earlier.

Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to boast a 5.0″ HD AMOLED display featuring a resolution of 1366x768px. If this turns out to be true, this would put it just 0.5” short of the Note II phablet. Experts have already voiced their cautious opinions about how such a move can actually cannibalize their own Note range but as it’s all speculation, we wouldn’t be able to figure out the reality right now.

Notes about the next-Note (Galaxy Note III) are also flying around but the present focus appears to be on  Samsung Galaxy S4 features and release date for good measure: the competition is doing good too.

In Short: Samsung Galaxy S IV release date would be Jan-Feb 2013.
