All of us have bad days at work now and then and that is just normal. However, when the bad days are more than the good ones then perhaps it is time to call quits.

Your work should be something that gets you excited and not something that you dread.

“If you are stuck in a job that you simply cannot stand then not only will you not be able to give your best but it will also harm your physical and mental health,” explained Issa Asad Florida entrepreneur. Mr. Asad is the CEO of Q Link Wireless, Hello Mobile, and Quadrant Holdings, all located in South Florida. He is also the author of 4 e-commerce and marketing e-books that can be purchased on Amazon.

Rather than not progressing and harming yourself it will be better if you move on. But how do you decide it is time to move on you may ask? Here, Issa Asad Shares 5 Signs You Can Quit Your Job.

1. You feel bored

When you first joined this job then perhaps you were very excited and passionate. Even if that was not the case, at least some things made you feel happy about this job – maybe the location, the payment, or the scope of growth.

If now you feel uninterested and bored, hopeless and defeated, then it is time to think if this job is really worth it. Or, should you try something more challenging, something that will get the best out of you.

2. You do not want to be in the shoes of your boss

Perhaps you have not called quits yet because your company promotes progress. But what if you realize you do not wish to be in the shoes of your boss? What if you do not want a managerial post like him/her?

If you do not see yourself tomorrow where your boss is today then there is no point being here. You need to look for a promising job before it is too late.

3. You cannot stand your boss

One of the reasons why many people consider a job change is because they have a terrible manager to put up with. If you feel your boss is too demanding, controlling, and makes you feel miserable, then you better leave soon.

If your boss only cares about pleasing their boss and you are just contributing to their greater glory, and enjoying no appreciation at all, then better bid goodbye.

4. You are anxious and stressed

There are days in everyone’s life when they do not feel like going to work and prefer staying back at home. But if you start feeling like this too often then there is a problem for sure.

Certainly, work will not always be fun. But, if instead of finding it challenging you only always feel unhappy, stressed, and demotivated, then you must find a better job for yourself as soon as possible.

5. Your efforts are going unnoticed

You may have put in your complete self, and even your coworkers are aware of it. However, if your boss is ignoring your efforts, and you are not being considered for promotions or high-profile projects, then you are just wasting your talent here.

You need to quit your job and look for a company that will give you the growth and the respect that you deserve.

Your workplace should be such that helps you discover your hidden talents, gives you the push to work harder, and appreciates your hard work and dedication, and pays you for it. If instead, you are stuck, dissatisfied, and unhappy, and there seems no ray of hope, then do not waste your time or talent. Quit your job and look for a better one.
